As a film major, I freaking love Oscar season.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 only received one nomination for best visual effects (Got to start off with a strong hook for my audience).
Calling it now, I predict that “The Artist” will be taking home most awards, I haven’t seen it, but it looks like the kind of movie the academy would naturally preserve, like how Hurt Locker beat Avatar or King’s Speech...

soddwin asked: Hi. You don't know me, but you were actually one of those first people I followed after I made my tumblr, and I was actually beginning to wonder where you'd gone. I really liked your more recent post, as parts of it are very relatable, but others are somewhere unclear, at least to me. What is it you finding unappealing about blogging (that is, if I understand you correctly)?
I feel like I've outgrown Tumblr, or not.
Any work day where I don’t have to wake up early I consider the next best thing to a day off. Since I got extra moonlight hours tonight I thought a little writing would be fun, especially since I don’t use Tumblr chronically anymore. 2012
So it’s time to wrap up the year, the way it ended was entirely different from what I envisioned at the beginning of it. In January I thought by now I’d be in a film school in Hollywood working towards my dream career, turns out it ended up with me working minimum wage, which is no curse considering the unemployment right now. Some things went nicely planned, finished up my associates...

It bothers me
That a strong amount of what we have to express ourselves are all in some form of digital format. The music we listen to, the pictures we have, the letters we send, and anything that your parents keep tucked away in an old shoe box. There’s just something about not being able to hold it that makes it feel less significant. I have games on my computer but I can’t give them to any kids...

I'll be parentless!
In a way that is, my mom divorced my dad when I was 5 and moved away, and I only contact with her rarely. Now I’m 19 and my Dad is moving out to continue his life, after telling me that I’m free to go off and do what I want, seeing that he raised a good son and all (no sarcasm, I’m a really friendly guy). I live with family here so I’ll still be in good care, but after Dec...
